Mohabbatein actress Preeti Jhangiani's husband Parvin Dabas met with a car accident on September 21 in Mumbai. After four days of hospitalization, Parvin was discharged from the hospital. In his first interview after the incident, Parvin shared his health update with Bombay Times. Dabas also told the publication that this incident has helped him appreciate his life and family more.

Speaking with the news publication, Parvin Dabas said his wife Preeti Jhangiani has been a solid support and managed to deal with this crisis well. Parvin revealed that he and Preeti initially didn't inform their sons about the accident. However, they got to know from their friends.
"My older son got a message from his friend saying, 'Sorry to hear about your dad.' And he thought I had passed away. Then, Preeti told them about the accident and my condition and calmed him down. The incident has helped me appreciate my life and family more," said Parvin.
Currently, Dabas has been advised to bed rest for 10 days. The actor mentioned that he is taking pills for vertigo as he feels every time he gets up. "I am not walking around much and whenever I do, I am taking the help of a cane. I have been called for a follow-up after a few days," added Parvin.
How did the accident happen?
In the same conversation, Parvin revealed how his car accident happened in Bandra. The actor recalled he crashed into the divider because of the high beam lights from the vehicle on the other side of the road. Parvin met with an accident on Hill Road in Bandra at 5 in the morning. The actor further recalled he was found lying unconscious on the road by two boys. He was made to sit on the sidewalk of the road. Later, Parvin was taken to a nearby hospital.
