Modern Love: Mumbai was announced a few days ago among a huge list of anticipated projects by Amazon Prime Video.

What is Modern Love: Mumbai about?

The Hindi adaptation of the 2019 hit anthology on Amazon Prime Video of the same name. The upcoming series showcases six love stories from different caste and classes that are beyond age, gender, race and boundaries. As the name suggests, all these tales are about the people residing in Mumbai.

Modern Love: Mumbai ensembles a huge list of actors including the veteran celebs such as Naseeruddin Shah, Sarika, and Tanuja. The show also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Chitrangada Singh, Arshad Warsi, Pratik Gandhi, Ranveer Brar, Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Yeo Yann Yann, Meiyang Chang, Wamiqa Gabbi, Bhupendra Jadawat, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Danesh Razvi, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik, Dolly Singh.

Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, the six different tales have been directed by six Indian filmmakers including Shonali Bose, Hansal Mehta, Vishal Bhardwaj, Alankrita Shrivastava, Dhruv Sehgal, Nupur Asthana.

The official trailer glimpses a few scenes from each of the stories from the anthology that talk about love in various ways such as romantic, platonic, parental, sexual, familial, marital and self-love.

Netizens went gaga to get the Hindi adaptation of the US original series. One of the fans took excitement on Twitter and mentioned, "#ModernLoveMumbai is coming and I can’t be more happy!
