Modern Love Mumbai has gained immense praise and popularity among the OTT audience. Chitrangada Singh-Arshad Warsi's story named Cutting Chai was the last tale in this anthology and we couldn't have asked for a better finish to this love saga. The actress plays the role of Latika, who is an aspiring writer. She recently spoke about her character and her experience working on the series.

Chitrangada gets to portray the character of someone who questions each of her decisions from her 20s to the present day. Talking about the response to Modern Love Mumbai, the Bollywood diva mentioned in a recent statement that it feels surreal to receive so much love. She recollects her feelings on the night before the show’s release as she was praying that the audience likes and accepts her in the role of Latika. "I remember being super nervous the night before the show’s release. I have always enjoyed playing different parts in films, whether it is doing a special song or a simple middle-class woman like Latika in Modern Love," she added.

The Bob Biswas actress further added that her character is a simple woman from a middle-class family and that also was something contrary to what she has essayed before. "A big thank you to my fans for all their love and support," Chitrangada added.

Modern Love Mumbai consists of 6 different love stories from the different corners of the 'city of dreams.' Apart from Chitrangada and Arshad's Cutting Chai, the anthology features Fatima Sana Shaikh in Raat Rani, and Pratik Grandhi-Ranveer Brar in Baai. Meanwhile, Mumbai Dragon starring Meiyang Chang, My Beautiful Wrinkles featuring Sarika, and Masaba Gupta-Ritwik Bhowmik's I Love Thane are the other three tales in this romantic anthology, which is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
