Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV is the world's longest-running singing reality show. It has been entertaining viewers for nearly 30 years. With the ninth season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs, Zee TV is giving some exceptional young singing prodigies another chance to shine on the biggest stage after introducing the world to talented powerhouses like Shreya Ghoshal, Shekhar Ravijani, Kunal Ganjawala, Sugandha Mishra, Kamal Khan, Raja Hasan, and Vaishali Mhade who have made a name for themselves in the industry. This season, the young singing star will be judged by a new panel made up of Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan. The lively host of the show is Bharti Singh.
While the top 13 finalists have been captivating everyone with their incredible vocals, this weekend's Celebrating Disco Kings special episode gave fans a treat with appearances by veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty and Padmini Kolhapure. While all the bright children wowed the judges and special guests with their outstanding performances throughout the shoot, Mithun's life story left everyone on the set feeling profoundly moved. He discussed his difficult path and how he experienced mistreatment due to the colour of his skin. The actor addressed all of the competitors and urged them never to give up and to work tirelessly to realise their aspirations.
Mithun said that he never wants anybody to go through what he has gone through in life. Everyone has experienced problems and battled through trying times, but he was constantly criticised because of the colour of his skin. The actor has endured years of disdain due to the colour of his skin, and there have been times when he has had to go to bed hungry.
On those occasions, Mithun used to sob himself to sleep. In fact, there were times when he had to plan his next meal and his sleeping arrangements. The actor has spent a lot of days sleeping on the sidewalk as well. And for that one and only reason, he hopes his biopic never gets done! Mithun feels that his narrative will never uplift anyone; instead, it will demoralise them and deter them from realising their aspirations. That is not what he wants to happen! If he can, anyone can do what he has done. The actor struggled greatly to establish his credibility in this field.
Mithun ended by saying that he is a legend not because he made good movies but because he overcame all the bad things that happened to him in his life.
