The actress Misty Singh got married this year. Her lavish wedding took place at a five-star hotel in Kolkata when a bevy of celebrity guests, including chief minister Mamata Banerjee, attended her wedding. Then she went on a honeymoon. She shared her photos from Paris, Barcelona, Switzerland, and Amsterdam, on social media.

Misty’s travel photos invited trills who questioned her lavish lifestyle. Many of them asked her how she could afford luxury by working in Bengali serials. Finally Misty schooled her trolls. She said that she is used to such a life from her childhood, and going abroad is nothing new to her. Her father, who is a scholar, has had a relationship with France for the last few decades. He teaches sociology and political science at various colleges in that country.

Misty also cleared that being affluent does not mean she is a spoiled brat. She studied at a reputed school in Kolkata and graduated with 76% marks. She did her bachelors in humanities, had a double MA, and also did a B.Ed course.

Misty said, “It is not like you need to be uneducated to do Bengali serials. I finished my education first. We have our B.Ed institution where I teach when there is no serial work.”

Misty made it clear that she came from an affluent family. Her family owns an NGO that shelters and teaches poor kids. She said, “I uploaded the video of feeding the street kids today. But I did not start it today, rather have been doing it since my childhood.” Regarding her honeymoon in Paris, she said that her brother-in-law is a French person, and they stayed at his place during the honeymoon.

Misty became popular from her role as Bhadu in the serial Achal. She worked in serials like Khokababu, Bikele Bhorer Ful, Tekka Raja Badsha, and Alata Foring. She took a break from work after her marriage but said she would come back soon.

Regarding her husband Remo, Misty said that they have been friends since their Kindergarten days. The romance blossomed later and aged 14 years. Remo has a real estate business.
