Ever since the makers of the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue’ had dropped the film’s teaser, it has been ma king news for all the right reasons. The trailer only upped the expectations of the viewers from the film ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue’. Today, the makers dropped the film’s thrilling trailer, which was eagerly awaited by many.
Trailer sees transformation of Akshay Kumar into daredevil Jaswant Singh Gill
The film’s trailer starts off with the dashing entry of the rescue trained officer Jaswant Singh Gill (Akshay Kumar) who takes charge of the extremely uncontrollable situation after the villagers go uncontrollably wild with anger and aggression because of the miners who get trapped under the coal mine. This is followed by Akshay Kumar proposing a search operation for the 65 miners who have gone missing. There are many who believe that they (the miners) may not be alive and that they must be dead under the ground (in the mine).

Not the one to give up so soon, Akshay Kumar tells everyone that “Neeche, agar ek bhi zindagi saans le rahi hai, toh woh hamaare intezaar mein” (Even if there is one life/ person who is breathing under the ground, then, that is because they are waiting for us). Left with only 48 hours left to save the miners, Akshay Kumar acts as a bridge between the relatives of the miners who are trapped and the mining management. That’s when a frustrated and helpless lady comes ahead and slaps Akshay Kumar as they are unable to rescue the missing miners.
That’s when Akshay Kumar presents his rescue plans before his senior management officials, in an attempt to save the missing miners. Akshay Kumar also tells his senior officers that the rescue mission technique suggested by him will be used in India for the first time ever. Meanwhile, the news about the missing miners reaches the ears of the media, who reach the spot in no time. This also adds pressure to the rescue operations.
Parineeti Chopra is Akshay Kumar's pillar of strength in the film
Sensing the urgency, emergency and the call of the situation, Akshay Kumar tells his senior officers that, since they are hard pressed on time, he would like to go down the mine and rescue the miners. Acting as his pillar of support is Parineeti Chopra (who plays Akshay Kumar’s wife), who tells everyone that her husband is a miner first and then her husband. This is followed by Akshay Kumar deep diving into the mine as a part of the rescue operation.
Star cast of ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’
Will he ‘emerge’ successful is what will form the crux of the film, which releases on October 6 this year all over. Readers may know that, the ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue’ was initially called ‘Capsule Gill’ and stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the main lead. Veteran actor Kumud Mishra will be seen in an important role in the film.
