Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One continues to soar at the box office.

Tom Cruise is back with a bang as Ethan Hunt in the seventh instalment of his popular action franchise, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One. The film, which released on Wednesday, has been receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its thrilling stunts, gripping plot and stellar performances.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned a whopping Rs 16 crore on Saturday, its fourth day of release, across all languages in India. This was a huge jump from its previous days, when it collected Rs 12.3 crore on Wednesday, Rs 8.7 crore on Thursday and Rs 9 crore on Friday. The film’s total collection in India now stands at Rs 46.20 crore and is expected to cross the 50-crore mark on Sunday.
The film has also been doing well at the international box office, grossing $122 million worldwide so far. It is projected to make $250 million globally by Sunday, but the numbers may vary depending on the domestic performance. The film has received a positive response from the US market, where it is looking to make $78 million in five days.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also helmed the previous two films in the series. The film features an ensemble cast including Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Hayley Atwell, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Cary Elwes, Frederick Schmidt and Mariela Garriga.
The film follows Ethan Hunt and his IMF team as they embark on their most dangerous mission yet: to track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. The film is packed with spectacular action sequences, such as a train dangling over a steep river ravine, a motorcycle chase through Paris streets and a helicopter fight over snow-capped mountains.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One is the first part of a two-film finale that will conclude the franchise. The second part, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part Two, is slated to release in July 2024.
