Miss Universe 2021: When and where to watch the iconic competition in India

Miss Universe is one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. The 70th Miss Universe is going to be held on December 12, Sunday in Israel's most southern city Eilat. The iconic competition will be hosted by Steve Harvey. The American television representator is gearing up to host Miss Universe for the sixth time. 

Reportedly, Miss Universe Morocco is returning in the beauty competition after four decades, while Miss Universe 2021 also marks the first time that a delegate from the United Arab Emirates has competed in the competition. 

Along with Morocco the latest edition of the competition will see the return of more than 10 countries including Equatorial Guinea, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, Sweden, and Turkey.

The official Instagram handle on Miss Universe announced the date and time of the competition with a video and also mentioned that FOX TV will be broadcasting it live. The caption of the latest post reads, TODAY! The 70th MISS UNIVERSE Competition will air LIVE around the world from Eilat, Israel on December 12 at 7 p.m. ET on @foxtv! (sic).”

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is gearing up to represent India in Miss Universe 2021. She was crowned Miss Diva 2021 and previously won Femina Miss India Punjab 2019. The 21-year-old contestant has been born and raised in Chandigarh, India.

Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela, who has been crowned Miss Universe in 2015, will join the committee of judges in the latest competition including Adamari López, Adriana Lima, Rena Sofer, Marian Rivera, Lori Harvey and more. The Bollywood actress will be the youngest judge in the history of this competition.

The Indian audience will be able to stream Miss Universe 2021 live on Voot at 5:30 am IST on December 13. While the custom-made Miss Universe Arena in Eilat will be able to host more than 5,000 people in it.
