Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty first review out: Chiranjeevi heaps praise on Naveen Polishetty, Anushka Shetty’s film

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, the light-hearted relationship drama, is gearing up to hit screens this Thursday - September 7, commemorating Krishnashtami. Anushka Shetty is making her comeback with the film where she’s paired opposite Jathi Ratnalu star Naveen Polishetty. P Mahesh Babu, who earlier helmed Ra Ra Krishnayya, has wielded the megaphone for the same.

The entertainer is produced by Vamsi and Pramod under UV Creations, the makers of films like Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Mirchi. Meanwhile, the team recently organised a special preview of the film for Bholaa Shankar star Chiranjeevi. The latter fell in love with the film and took to social media to applaud the team for their credible effort today.

“I watched Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty. I really liked it and the film is a full-on hilarious entertainer. It represents the ideas of youngsters today with a new concept. Naveen Polishetty ensures laughs and is in more energetic avatar than Jathi Ratnalu. Despite her sabbatical, Anushka Shetty is as beautiful as ever. They’ve poured their heart and soul into the film,” Chiranjeevi tweeted.

Besides being a full-length entertainer, the director deserves credit for making a gripping film that has the right blend of emotions, the veteran wrote. Chiranjeevi expressed his happiness about being the first viewer of the film and said he enjoyed it thoroughly. He spoke of his interest to watch the film with viewers in theatres again. “It’s a sure-shot laugh riot that audiences will appreciate.”

The film revolves around the highs and lows in the relationship between a chef and a standup comedian. Nirav Shah cranked the camera for the film which has music by Radhan (songs) and Gopi Sundar (background score). Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor and Rajeevan Nambiar is the art director. Naveen Polishetty will be watching the film with viewers in the US later this week.
