Miss Perfect has released both a teaser and a trailer, offering intriguing insights into the messy and chaotic love story that is set to unfold. Lavanya is a perfectionist, literally and mentally. She also suffers from, perhaps undiagnosed, OCD, aka obsessive-compulsive disorder. The disorder renders an individual incapable of doing anything in a messy, untidy, or chaotic manner, or breaking any pattern or system, in any way.
Though harmless and a good inspiration in small doses, passed off as quirky traits, the disorder can have dangerous and irksome consequences on a person’s life. Our protagonist Lavanya seems to suffer from a lot of it but finds a suitable and quirky coping mechanism. Playing double role as her new and messy neighbor Rohit’s household help as well as his neighbor, in a Covid inflicted, mask-covered world, Lavanya manages the impossible in the real world.
However, as time passes, and nosy neighbors get into the mix, things become more complicated for the simple yet nuanced bond blooming between Lavanya’s Lakshmi (aka the help) and Rohit. But can love overcome a big lie told for such a quirky and neurodivergent reason? The answer lies in the heartwarming romantic comedy full of humor, romance, and pathos.
