It’s not just the fans but also the actors who are part of the show who are excited about the crime thriller Mirzapur. One of the cast members, Shweta Tripathi Sharma is also looking forward to the Amazon Prime Video show, which also features Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Faisal, Vikrant Massey, Divyendu Sharma, and others.

Shweta Tripathi will begin shooting for the show in mid-June. She recently spoke to Miss Malini about being back on the sets of the fan-favourite show. She said web series allows you to grow with the character. Mirzapur is the first web series where she has played a character for three seasons. She said it was quite challenging as well as the 36-year-old actor plays a 22-year-old woman in the series. “I am the most excited about the next project I am starting, it is Mirzapur Season 3, shoot will start in mid-June. The best thing about web series is that you grow with the character. You do a feature film and move on, but in web shows there are seasons, I have never done 3 seasons of any show, Mirzapur is the first,” she told the portal. The actress also discussed her latest Netflix show, Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen which has been renewed for another season. She said she can’t wait to see the characters again.

Earlier, her co-star Ali had hyped us with his look from Mirzapur 3, which grabbed the interest of many admirers. The good news is that preparations for the new season have begun.

Mirzapur, which premiered in 2018, has been well-received by the public and critics and has had two successful seasons. The show has especially been heaping praises for the performances of the actor. Owing to the success of both seasons, the series was renewed for a third season and officially announced by Amazon Prime Video at their See Where It Takes You event, held in Mumbai recently.

Meanwhile, Shweta is obviously taking over the digital world with her new podcast Batman: Ek Chakravyuh, which has received positive feedback from the public. Escaype Live, her second series, will premiere on May 20 on Disney+ Hotstar. She also has Kanjoos Makhichoos, M For Mafia, and Gone Game 2.
