One of the most exciting movies among fans is the film adaptation of Mirzapur, which the makers announced earlier this year. The film is in production right now, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma has given a major update during a recent interview.

The actor told Mid-Day that she always feels elated when people unexpectedly recognize her, but she can sense their affection for her stemming from her role in Golu. What makes her pleased is when these beautiful girls with their hair styled, makeup applied, and stockings come up to her and tell her how much they love the character. None of them resemble her in appearance or temperament.

One of the most lovely aspects of Mirzapur (particularly in season 2) is the prominent role that powerful women play. In Shweta's opinion, the film may take a different turn. Here they are in the male-dominated world. The female protagonists are the main characters. The actor is well aware that men predominate and hold the reins of power. As a result, that will show. Therefore, she anticipates that the film will maintain the setting, language, and concepts of Mirzapur, albeit with a greater focus on masculinity.

Continuation of the first season's storyline

People have already witnessed the appearance of Compounder (Abhishek Banerjee) and Munna (Divyenndu) during the announcement video. This will be a continuation of the first season's storyline. The movie will showcase the same female characters from the first season.
