'Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu created lot of drama': Mika Singh shares 'horrible' experience of working with Dangerous actors

Mika Singh, best known for his music, ventured into production with a web series titled Dangerous. The singer explored uncharted territory with the Amazon MX Player show, starring Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu. Little did Mika know, this series would be his last project as a producer. In a recent interview, Singh shared his 'horrible' experience working with Karan and Bipasha on this project. The singer revealed that the couple 'created a lot of drama' during the show's shoot.

During a conversation with the KADAK YouTube channel, Mika shared that he initially planned to cast a newcomer opposite Karan in Dangerous. However, Bipasha eventually did the project. Although Basu's casting didn't exceed the project's budget, Mika had a horrible experience working with the actress and her husband.

"I took a team of 50 to London for a month-long schedule. However, it was extended to two months. Karan and Bipasha created a lot of drama. They were a married couple, so I booked a single room for them. But, they were like, ‘No, we need our separate rooms.’ I didn’t understand the logic. They then demanded to moved to a different hotel. We did that as well," revealed Mika.

The singer further recalled that Karan fractured his leg during a stunt scene. According to him, the couple created issues while dubbing the series. Mika added that Bipasha and Karan gave excuses about having soar throats. " I couldn’t understand the drama, especially when they were paid for their work," he shared.

Directed by Bhushan Patel, Karan and Bipasha's series was written by Vikram Bhatt. The show consisted of 7 episodes and was released on August 14, 2020. Mika co-produced this project with Vikram. Besides Karan and Bipasha, the show starred Suyyash Rai, Sonali Raut, and others in supporting roles.
