Since 2017, it has been an exciting moment to see Priyanka Chopra Jonas at the Met Gala. Interestingly, during her debut, she walked with Nick Jonas, and they weren't even dating at that time. Now, the couple has walked the red carpet together, and that too for Valentino. Priyanka and Nick both opted for a monochromatic look as they paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, on whom the theme is based this year.

As per the official Instagram page of Valentino, Rebecca Corbin Murray styled Priyanka in a black cady strapless dress with black bow detail and leather gloves, and Sydney Lopez dressed Nick in a black Valentino jacket, black trousers, and a black silk faille tie. Priyanka was also seen wearing a necklace made of 11-carat diamonds by Bulgari. The actor opted for a low, side bun rather than a more elaborate hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Nick took to his Instagram page and shared a beautiful post with his "two" girls—wife Priyanka and their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. He wrote, "Pre-Met with my girls. @nicolasgerardin."

Over the years, Priyanka has opted for outfits by Ralph Lauren and Dior. The actor also became among the best-dressed celebs at the prestigious event.

The Met Gala is an annual black-tie fundraising gala held in New York City to support the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Celebrities, up-and-coming artists, and industry veterans alike are all welcome to attend. In 1948, the first event of its kind was held. Eleanor Lambert, a publicist, devised the plan to raise funds for the Costume Institute's latest exhibition.

The new Costume Institute exhibition Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty serves as inspiration for this year's subject. Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85, spent decades designing clothing for many different brands, including Balmain, Patou, Chloe, Fendi, Chanel, and more.
