Today (January 2), the makers shared the big announcement along with the star cast and a promo clip that gives a glimpse of the plotline. The official theatrical release date has also been dropped to pique the excitement of fans.
Filmmaker Mudassar Aziz has given fans the perfect gift for the New Year as he announced his upcoming film with a stellar trio of Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead. In an exciting announcement, the makers even shared the release date for the awaited venture. Backed by Pooja Entertainment, Mere Husband ki Biwi is an upcoming romantic comedy film that is slated to premiere on February 21 in theatres.
Taking to Instagram, the makers shared an intriguing prom clip that features a man's shoe in the middle with a beautiful stiletto on the left and a Punjabi Jutti on the right.
The creative announcement post also hints at the quirky love triangle that features the fresh pairing of Arjun Kapoor with two leading ladies, Bhumi and Rakul Preet. While it is kept under wraps who will play the Punjabi girl and who will essay the modern woman, one thing is guaranteed that it seems like a promising romantic comedy with fun plot twists.
While announcing the upcoming rom-com, the makers shared on Instagram, "Yahaan Pyaar ki geometry thodi twisted hai—kyunki ye love triangle nahi, pura circle hai!#MereHusbandKiBiwi In Cinemas 21st February, 2025," the post read.

In a press meet, filmmaker Mudassar Aziz said that he believes in telling stories that entertain the audience. Mudassar is known for films like Pati Patni Aur Woh and Happy Bhag Jayegi.
