Choi Woo-shik is among one of the K-Drama actors who leaves you guessing about his next move. That is a part of his charm, and his streak continues with Melo Movie. The Netflix series will see him in another will he-won't he relationship, and as expected, the romance still leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling. The makers have unveiled the teaser of this one, and here’s everything it has…
Park Bo-young, who plays Kim Mu-bee in Melo Movie, aspires to be a filmmaker. When meeting Choi Woo-shik's Go Gyeom at a bus stop, they discuss her passion to be a filmmaker. He asks her the kind of movie she wishes to make, to which she responds, "An awesome melo movie (melodrama)." On hearing so, he spits out the corn they were nibbing on individually.
Gyeom met Mu-bee during their university days. He found her name pretty and even asked her the reason for having such a name. Prompt came the answer that she did not decide it for herself. That is when Gyeom reveals his passion for movies and how her name sounds very similar to what he loves. Hearing so, she asked him to not talk to her. This is till they meet again while he is working on a scene as a supporting character and she is among the crew.
Once Gyeom confessed his feelings to Mu-bee, she ignored him while he felt delicate towards her. That is at least what his eyes initially conveyed. He pursued her and with a kiss, they officially date. All of this only to become her nemesis in the future. He ghosted her without intending to, and during the time, he became a successful film critic. When they meet by fate, the past lovers turn enemies once again, mainly because they are on different sides in the same field i.e. of entertainment.
The storyline, will he-won't he is peak Woo-shik behaviour in K-Dramas and as always, it is the romance in this that draws you in. Melo Movie is a Valentines' Day release and will be out on Netflix.
