Actress Mehreen Pirzada, last seen in director Maruthi's Manchi Rojulochaie alongside Santosh Shobhan, has an exiciting month ahead with the release of the comic caper F3, which also features Venkatesh, Varun Tej and Tamannaah Bhatia. She has also signed a new film titled Spark, an action thriller in the making. The film, that marks the acting debut of Vikranth, who plays the male lead, officially took off with a formal pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.
Telangana's cinematography minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, director Surender Reddy, cinematographer Ratnavelu, Anvesh Reddy and industrialist Rama Raju graced Spark's launch event. The makers have revealed that Vennela Kishore, Satya, Srikanth Iyengar, Annapurnamma and others will also play important roles in the film. Cinematographer Aravind Kumar Ravi Varma will be wielding the megaphone for the first time in his career (in addition to cinematography) for this action thriller.
Aravind Kumar was a former associate of cinematographer S Ratnavelu and other known filmmakers like Shankar, Sukumar too. He has directed over 400 ad-films to date as well. A well-known composer is on board for Spark; the name is expected to be announced shortly. While the film's first schedule will be shot in the vicinity of Hyderabad, the later schedules will have the team heading to Vizag, Darjeeling, Mumbai and Goa for the shoot. A part of the film will also be shot in foreign locations. Deaf Frog productions is bankrolling the film.
Political leader Ranjith Reddy, who was also part of the launch, wrote, "Took part in the launch of the shooting for the movie #SPARK produced by Deaf Frog productions at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Film Nagar today.
