Megha Akash, who forayed into Telugu cinema with Nithiin starrer Lie, hogged the limelight in the recent weeks for the OTT release of her two movies - Dear Megha (on ETV Win) and Premadesam (Amazon Prime Video). Both films had her teaming up with Thrigun and are feel-good romances. Her next major release is the action thriller Ravanasura on April 7, headlined by Ravi Teja and directed by Sudheer Varma.

“I feel very nervous today. I’m not sure what I’m going to speak. I am very happy to be a part of Ravanasura and it’s a unique film. I got to work with an amazing cast and crew. I thank Abhishek Nama (garu) for giving me this opportunity; I had a lovely time working on it. Director Sudheer Varma was brilliant and I am grateful for the confidence he gave me to play my character,” Megha Akash said.

“If I need to talk about Ravi Teja, there are so many things I want to learn from you and steal from you - including your comic timing, sense of humour, dancing and acting chops. More than anything else, I admire him as a great human being. I had the best time working with him and I hope I get the opportunity to collaborate again. I’ll remain indebted to him for how amazing he is. Ravi Teja changed my view on films and people. I love his fans for their energy,” she added.

The actress has several films lined up for release after Ravanasura. She’s teaming up with Rahul Vijay for a romance drama titled Maate Manthramu, directed by debutant Abhimanyu Baddi (a former associate of Dear Megha director Sushanth Reddy) and presented by the actress’ mother Bindu Akash. She recently signed a project with Uday Shankar, being helmed by Manmohan Menampalli.
