Hollywood actress Linda Hamilton will be teaming up with the Hawkins crew as she is all set to make a debut with the fifth and final installment of Netflix’s popular sci-fi series ‘Stranger Things.’ Every previous season brought her new waves of excitement to watch the show, but this time it’s not the same despite being a part, and she feels that the latest season ruined it for her. Linda Hamilton joins the cast of Stranger Things 5

Actress Linda Hamilton, who made her breakthrough role with The Terminator, will now be seen in the upcoming Stranger Things season 5, playing a mysterious character. Although not much is known about her role or how it will shape the story, the excitement to see Hamilton in a promising role is massive for global fans. The 67-year-old actress, who is currently busy promoting the upcoming third installment of the sci-fi comedy drama Resident Alien, revealed in a recent interview that being a part of the final season ruined her thrill as a fan, and she won’t feel the same.

During a conversation with US Weekly, Hamilton further explained that she has always been a huge fan of the horror and sci-fi series and watched it like a true fan, relishing it. However, joining as a cast member is still quite unbelievable, although thrilling for her, but she feels it's hard to fit in, similar to imposter syndrome.

“When you really buy into something, you don’t see yourself in it. So I think, in a way, it kind of ruined the show for me. I never watch [a project] once I’m in something. It would just completely take me out of the reality of it to see myself in there. So, I won’t be watching [season 5],” Hamilton told the news portal.
