Meera shared the pictures to mark Gudumba Shankar's re-release that is slated to take place on August 31, which coincides with Pawan Kalyan's birthday.
In her Instagram post, Meera shared her experience of working with the Power Star. She wrote that working with the Telugu star had a positive impact on her as an artist and taught her valuable lessons that shaped her future. Meera also praised Pawan Kalyan for his generosity and kindness, conveying her gratitude for the opportunity to work with him.
Gudumba Shankar's re-release
The re-release of Gudumba Shankar was initially pushed from August 31 to September 2 to avoid a clash with Varun Tej's film, Gandivadhari Arjuna. The re-release plans were then changed to the original date (August 31), due to the poor performance of Gandivadhari Arjuna.
Gudumba Shankar, the 2004 Telugu action comedy, had Meera Jasmine, Pawan Kalyan, and Ashish Vidyarthi in lead roles. In addition to playing the leading man, Pawan also co-wrote the script. The film revolves around Gudumba Shankar (Pawan), who is a small-time thief. He meets Gouri (Meera), and they fall in love. Kumaraswamy (Ashish) wants to marry Gowri because he believes she will bring him good fortune. The movie is about the deceitful tactics that Shankar uses to prevent Kumaraswamy from marrying Gouri.
Gudumba Shankar was a huge hit in Pawan Kalyan's career and set a trend with his lower pants that many people followed.
