Soldier Kyle Reese goes back in time from 2029 to 1984 in an attempt to save Sarah Connor from certain death in the post-apocalyptic struggle against Skynet. When Kyle arrives in the past, he uncovers Skynet's altered history and the reprogrammed Terminator sent to protect Sarah. Matt Smith plays Alex, an enhanced T-5000 Terminator that personifies Skynet. When it came to holographic avatars in 2017, Skynet also utilised Alex's likeness.

Doctor Who (Disney+ Hotstar)

A renegade Time Lord whose origins are murky, the protagonist of Doctor Who goes by the moniker "the Doctor." After the Time Lord planet Gallifrey was hijacked, the Doctor managed to escape using a stolen TARDIS ("Time and Relative Dimension(s) in Space"), a time machine capable of traversing the time vortex. The TARDIS, a time machine, has the ability to change into any object it encounters due to its "chameleon circuit" and its small exterior, which effectively hides its massive interior. A glitch has trapped the Doctor's TarDIS in the shape of a blue British police box. Following David Tennant's departure, Matt Smith assumed the role of the Eleventh Doctor, making his debut in "The End of Time." All seven seasons and subsequent specials featured the actor in the same role.

The Crown (Netflix)

Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Left Bank Pictures, the historical drama series The Crown follows Queen Elizabeth II's reign on Netflix. Peter Morgan serves as both a creator and a primary writer. Beginning just before Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten's 1947 wedding and concluding with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles' 2005 nuptials, the six-season series spans nearly sixty years. House of the Dragon (JioCinema)

George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal's House of the Dragon is an HBO fantasy drama series. Matt Smith portrays Prince Daemon Targaryen, the uncle and husband of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and the younger brother of King Viserys I Targaryen. Fearsome fighter Daemon wields the Valyrian steel sword Dark Sister, earning him the nickname "Rogue Prince" due to his unpredictable nature. He is a seasoned dragonrider who helms the mighty Dragon Caraxes, sometimes referred to as the "Blood Wyrm."
