Varun Tej made a grand comeback to the big screens today (November 14, 2024), with Matka, the period action-drama film. The movie, helmed by Palasa 1978-fame director Karuna Kumar, is set in the backdrop of Visakhapatnam city of the late 1950s. Meenakshi Chaudhary appears as the female lead in the film, which stars Nora Fatehi, Saloni Aswani, Ajay Gosh, Satyam Rajesh, P Ravi Shankar, Achyuth Kumar, Kishore, Ravi Mariya, Naveen Chandra, LB Sriram and others in supporting roles.
