Mathu Vadalara 2 is one of the most-awaited films in recent times as it is the sequel to the hit film, Mathu Vadalara. Featuring Sri Simha Koduri, Satya, and Faria Abdullah in lead roles, the comedy caper hit the screens on September 13, 2024, and has started with a bang.
Mathu Vadalara 2 was carrying a solid buzz from day one and the makers spent good money on the promotions. This clearly showed in the box office collections of the film. Mathu Vadalara 2 is done within two days of its run and has made Rs 11 crore to date.
With each passing day, the film is impressing many. The likes of Mahesh Babu and megastar Chiranjeevi have lauded the film calling it a laugh riot. This has given Mathu Vadalara 2 a new lease of life at the box office. The pre-release business of the film was also done on a strong note as Mathu Vadalara 2 was sold for Rs 9 crore in Telugu states.
As per the latest trade update, Mathu Vadalara 2 will cross the Rs 13 crore mark today. The occupancy for the film is superb in multiplexes and a few A centers in Andhra. Mathu Vadalara 2 was made on a budget of Rs 16 crore and the makers sold the OTT rights to Netflix for a solid amount.
So, whatever the film makes from Monday, September 16, 2024, will be profits for the makers. One of the biggest assets of the film is Satya's comedy which is attracting one and all to the theaters. He has single-handedly carried the film on his shoulders.
Ritesh Rana directed the film which is a big relief to Sri Simha Koduri, as he has also scored a hit after a long time. Mathu Vadalara 2 is also going great guns in the US as it has crossed half a million dollars already.
