The contestants in MasterChef India season 7 are now set to get a challenging task from the judges. To cook a traditional Italian pasta dish, home cooks will have to prepare the raw pasta from scratch. In the latest promo video, Ranveer Brar explains the type of pasta, contestants have to make and to make.
The promo video begins with Ranveer explaining the challenge of the day and says, "So, today's captaincy depends on pasta. Let's meet the kinds of pasta, which you all are going to make."
He further describes three types of pasta and the way of making it. "This is Trofie. This pasta goes perfectly with pesto. The second one is Lorighittas. It usually gets made to remember ancestors and saints. The third shape is called notoriety or malloreddus. This is the perfect pasta to go with tomato ragu or tomato sauce. Now, let's see how to make these pastas," he shares.
He explains the way to make it and says, "When you will roll your dough, cut it by measuring it with your fingernails. And after that give it the shape with the help of a fork. The parameters of the pasta will be its design and thickness, which needs to be even. Done? Simple and easy. I told you it is not rocket science."
Most of the home cooks seem nervous as soon as Ranveer finishes explaining the kinds of pasta. Priyanka says that it seems easy but it is surely not and they have years and years of experience, they made it in one go. After that, Gurkeerat shares that he is not able to understand. "I couldn't get it even after seeing it. It seems pretty tricky and complicated," says the home cook.
