Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora's show MasterChef India season 7 has finally come to an end after declaring Assam's Nayanjyoti Saikia as a winner this year. Another home cook from Assam Santa Sarmah has become the 1st runner-up, while Mumbai's Suvarna Bagul has bagged the position of 2nd runner-up.
The finale episode was aired on March 31 on the Sony Entertainment Television channel as well as the online streaming platform SonyLIV. Along with Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Garima Arora, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor also graced the show to judge the grand finale.
Ranveer welcomed the guest judge with a very special note and said, "Home cooks put your hands together for Padma Shri chef Sanjeev Kapoor." Post that, the latter announced that the home cooks will have to prepare their signature three-course meal, which can showcase their personal touch in the food.
After tasting all meals of the three contestants, the judges declared Nayanjyoti a winner, while Santah and Suvarna as first and second runner-ups respectively.
Chef-actor Ranveer took to his official Instagram handle to congratulate the MasterChef India season 7 winner and shared a small video with a special caption that reads, "Congratulations @the_travellercook Well deserved..You are proof that No dream's too small.. When you trust your passion, it will see you through The world awaits your Magic #MasterchefNayan So so proud of you @masterchef_suvarnabagul @masterchef_santa . . . #masterchefindia #SonyEntertainmentTelevision #SonyLIV #winner (sic)."

Meanwhile, Nayanjyoti also dropped his picture on Instagram where he can be seen holding the trophy. The MasterChef India season 7 winner shared the image by calling himself a winner.
