MasterChef India 9: Online registrations for culinary show begin; here's how you can participate

MasterChef India has been renewed for a new season. The culinary show has had 8 successful seasons on OTT and television (combined). As MasterChef India season 9 is about to commence, registrations for the culinary show have begun. SonyLIV has officially announced the same. Those who get selected in the online process will be further invited for on-ground auditions. Here's everything you should know about MasterChef India 9...

MasterChef India 9 online registration details

SonyLIV revealed that people can register for MasterChef India through the streaming platform. They need to upload their video along with their name and recipe on the app. The selected entries will be called for on-ground auditions in Mumbai on October 27, 2024. As per the previous promo of MasterChef India 9, the audition round will happen at Pawar Public School in the city.

The on-ground audition will also be held on October 20 at Central Academy in Delhi. Later, on October 23, an audition round will take place in Kolkata at Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School. While sharing registration updates, the streaming platform captioned its Instagram post, "Online registrations for MasterChef India have begun! Register now on the Sony LIV app! Link in Bio (sic)."

Ranveer Brar on MasterChef India 8

Last season, when OTTplay interviewed Ranveer Brar, the chef spoke about the 'X' factor of MasterChef India 8. "She (Pooja Dhingra) is the X factor. She is new and has added a lot of colour, energy, vibrance, and personality to the show. Other than that, the contestants and the home cooks, are a fantastic bunch. All of them are from across India. They're from really small towns and getting represented," he said.
