Talking about Masoom and his character, the 3 Idiots actor mentioned in a statement that this show on Disney+ Hotstar is giving him his long-awaited digital debut. He further said that OTT allows him to reach a larger audience. He also unveiled that portraying the character of Samara Tijori's father was challenging for him due to its powerful and gritty nature.

Talking about her character and working alongside Boman Irani, Samara mentioned in a statement that she is portraying a young girl who is determined to learn the truth about her mother's death. She further explained that she had a great learning experience playing her character with a professional actor like Boman Irani as her on-screen father.
