Maruthi opens up on his next with Prabhas, calls it a golden opportunity, deets inside

Prabhas is busy with multiple films and was last seen in Om Raut's Adipurush which was a big flop at the box office and got trolled brutally. The film incurred huge losses for all the parties involved. In all his other biggies, Prabhas has surprisingly chosen Maruthi's film which is a comedy thriller. 

Prabhas has also started shooting for the film and half of the film has also been wrapped up. The interesting part is that this film was never announced and not even a launch event was done. The makers and director Maruthi never spoke about the film either.

But today, on his birthday, director Maruthi has finally opened up. Speaking in an interview, Maruthi says that he has given his blood and tears for this film which will be his biggest and boldest film to date.

Adding further, he says that getting a chance to direct a star like Prabhas is no small thing and this film will be a huge turning point in his career. "I know how precious this opportunity is for me as a director and I will not misuse it for anything else," says Maruthi in a very confident tone. 

Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in this film which is being produced by UV Creations. Maruthi has already wrapped up 50% of the shoot and once Prabhas joins the shoot, he will speed up the proceedings. 

But for Prabhas, the film that will be released first is Salaar, which will be out on December 22, 2023. Maruthi will showcase Prabhas in a new avatar as per the news. For now, all eyes are now on Salaar which will hit the marquee first. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
