Mark Antony: Vishal and Sunil wrap up their portions, celebrate the occasion by cutting a cake

The makers of Mark Antony had announced yesterday that the action drama will hit screens on July 28. The film's teaser, which provided a glimpse into its genre and plot, was unveiled recently. Billed as a pan Indian project, the movie stars Vishal in the lead. SJ Suryah, Sunil and Selvaraghavan among others play key roles in it.

Ritu Varma has essayed the female lead in the project which has music composed by GV Prakash. Vinod has bankrolled the film under the banner of Mini Studio. Peter Hein, Kanal Kannan, Dhilip Subbarayan and Dinesh Subbarayan have choreographed stunt sequences in the movie.

Vishal has taken to his Twitter page now to reveal that he has wrapped up his portions for the movie along with Tollywood actor Sunil. Both of them are seen celebrating the occasion by cutting a cake with director Adhik Ravichandran and a few other crew members. 

An elated Sunil thanks the crew while Vishal has described the experience working with everyone as "wonderful" and "magnificent" in the tweet. The Laththi actor expressed his gratitude to the director and producer and added that he can’t wait to show the movie to everyone. He further posted, "I am sure u will love it, coming very soon to theatres near  you (sic)."

The film was in the news a couple of weeks ago when Vishal met Vijay at his home ahead of its teaser's release. The hashtag #ThalapathyVijayforMarkAntony trended big time on Twitter as speculations were rife that the Leo star was releasing the teaser.

A few pics of the Mark Antony team posing with Vijay went viral on social media. Zee5 has acquired the post theatrical digital rights of the movie.
