Mark Antony: The OTT partner of Vishal-starrer revealed, here's when the action drama's teaser will be out

We had reported recently that Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony has almost wrapped up its shooting. The Vishal-starrer, which has been billed as a pan Indian project, is a period action drama. SJ Suryah and Selvaraghavan play crucial characters in the film which will be released later this year.

GV Prakash has composed music for the movie which has Ritu Varma playing the female lead in it. Abinandhan Ramanujam has cranked the camera while Vijay Velukutty has handled editing. Peter Hein, Kanal Kannan, Dinesh Subbarayan and Dhilip Subbarayan have choreographed action scenes for the movie.

Though the makers are yet to announce the release date, they have come up with an update on its teaser release date. The team had revealed its motion poster earlier. They have now released a new poster as well along with the announcement on its teaser release plans.

It will be out at 6.30 pm on April 27. Vishal himself has updated the same from his Twitter page. The new poster features the actor in a clean-shaved look and wielding a wired phone's receiver in one hand. The poster's background has several guns firing in different directions.    

Vinod has produced Mark Antony under the banner of Mini Studios. This is his second association with Vishal after Enemy which was released in 2021. Meanwhile, the team has also revealed that Zee5 has acquired its digital rights through the poster. Zee Tamil has bagged satellite rights as well.

The film will be Vishal's first outing in 2023. It marks director Adhik's second movie this year after Bagheera which hit the screens a month ago after lying in the cans for a long time.
