The trailer of Mark Antony was unveiled by makers recently. The gangster drama loaded with fantasy elements is gearing up for release on September 15. Vishal plays the lead role in the film which has SJ Suryah, Sunil, Ritu Varma and Selvaraghavan essaying key characters.

GV Prakash's music is expected to be one of the highlights of the project which has been bankrolled by Vinod of Mini Studios. Its trailer launch event was held recently and the presence of T Rajender, who sang a peppy song in it, was one of the highlights of the event.   

Vishal visits Mumbai temple after launching Hindi trailer

The actor was in Mumbai to launch the film's Hindi trailer and interacted with the media there. Quite excited about how things unfolded as per his plans, he paid a visit to Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. He posted a picture from his Vinayagar darisanam and expressed happiness. 

He said that he felt good and obtained the required energy after the temple visit and is returning back to Chennai to indulge in Tamil promotions. The movie will be released in Telugu as well. However, the release of the Hindi version will be delayed by a week, on September 22.

Mark Antony is Vishal's first release in 2023

The movie marks his first outing this year. Laththi, which had him essaying a cop's role, was his last release. The movie earned mixed reviews, though the action choreography received a thumbs up. 

He began shooting for Hari's untitled movie recently and is yet to announce plans for his directorial debut, Thupparivalan 2. The movie which has Ilaiyaraaja composing music was expected to go on floors long ago, but a confirmation is awaited.
