Mark Antony: Adhik Ravichandran dedicates the success of the Vishal-starrer to Ajith Kumar

Mark Antony is attracting crowds across Tamil Nadu to theatres and the film is expected to become the highest-grosser in Vishal's career. The gangster drama with a time travel element has clicked big time among cinephiles. It is also the biggest hit in director Adhik Ravichandran's career.

Many raised their eyebrows over his talent in coming up with an entertaining fare as his last two outings didn't perform well at the box office. However, movie buffs are now going gaga over his novel idea and the innovative execution of the film.     

Adhik Ravichandran dedicates Mark Antony's success to Ajith

The director, who is a hardcore fan of Ajith, thanked him after the release of the film for motivating him. Now, at the movie's success meeting, he has dedicated the feat to the actor. He expressed his gratitude to the Thunivu star for shaping his thoughts and instilling the required confidence in him.

He said, "There was a drastic change in my mindset before and after I met Ajith sir while working for Nerkonda Paarvai. He was the one who encouraged me to think big and opt for a different genre. I received the required positive energy from him."

Mark Antony inches close to 70 crores

The film, starring Vishal, SJ Suryah, Sunil, Ritu Varma and Selvaraghavan in lead roles, surpassed the 50 crore mark recently and has grossed around 70 crores after almost a week of its theatrical run across south India.

This Friday doesn't have any major release in Tamil and it is likely to help the movie earn more money at the box office until September 28. Mark Antony will drop on Amazon Prime in the second week of October.
