Malayalam film, Marivillin Gopurangal, is all set to make its digital debut soon. According to the latest reports, the romantic comedy drama will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. However, the makers have not made an official confirmation on the same. Arun Bose has helmed this movie, starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruti Ramachandran, Sarjano Khalid, and Vincy Sony Aloshious in lead roles.
Marivillin Gopurangal to stream on Disney+ Hotstar?
The film, which hit the big screen on May 10, did not receive favourable feedback from the audience, which might have led to the delay in its OTT release. However, it is now reported that Disney+ Hotstar has bought the online streaming rights of this romantic comedy. It is also safe to assume that the movie will be accessible from the mid- or last week of September.
Nagendran's Honeymoons, was the latest Malayalam project to be available on Disney+ Hotstar. The main actor in this web series, helmed by Nithin Renji Panicker of Kasaba fame, is Suraj Venjaramoodu. In significant parts of Nagendran's Honeymoon are Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop.
What is Marivillin Gopurangal all about?
The trailer for the movie made reference to its exploration of the changing dynamics of contemporary relationships. Sarjano Khalid and Vincy Sony Aloshious play Rony and Meenakshi, who are in love and about to become parents, while Shinu and Sherin (Indrajith Sukumaran and Shruti Ramachandran, respectively) are married couples. Their lives take an unexpected turn and they start to see marriage and love differently when the latter stays with Shinu and Sherin.
Marivillin Gopurangal, according to the OTTplay review, is a feel-good movie that only stays true to a safe formula without doing too much exploring. Among the movie's supporting cast members are Salim Kumar, Bindu Panicker, Sai Kumar, and Johny Antony. The screenplay for the movie was written by the director and Pramod Mohan. For this movie, Vidyasagar composed the soundtracks.
