Marco, the highly anticipated Unni Mukundan starrer, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on December 20, 2024. The movie, touted to be a violent action thriller, is helmed by Haneef Adeni. As per the latest updates, Marco has completed its censor formalities and has bagged an ‘A’ certificate, owing to its excessively violent action sequence. Reportedly, the makers of the Unni Mukundan starrer are planning to skip the film’s trailer release.

Marco, which marks the second collaboration of Unni Mukundan and director Haneef Adeni, will not follow the usual release norms. If the recent updates are to be believed, the makers have decided to skip the trailer release for the film. The grapevine suggests that this creative decision has been taken by the makers, in order to not give away anything about the plot and the lead character, played by Unni Mukundan.

Marco plot and runtime revealed

The plot of Unni Mukundan’s highly anticipated film has been revealed after a screengrab from a booking platform was leaked online. “Adattu is one of the most renowned gold-trading families in Kerala. Unexpectedly, a mysterious incident shakes the Adattu family. George, the head of the family, sets out of uncover the truth and find those responsible. At the same time, his younger brother, Marco, embarks on the same quest but through a different path,” read the Marco plot, which is now going viral on social media.

The upcoming Haneef Adeni directorial has a standard run time of two hours and 24 minutes. Yukti Thareja, the young Telugu actress, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Unni Mukundan, in the film. Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu Thilakan, Anson Paul, and Kabir Duhan Singh appear in pivotal roles in the film. KGF fame music director Ravi Basrur is composing the songs and the original score. Chandru Selvaraj is the director of photography. Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. Kalai Kingson handles the action choreography.
