The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film Marco have dropped an update on its crew. They have revealed that Ravi Basrur will compose the soundtrack and original score for the action film, which stars Unni Mukundan in the lead role.
The actor and makers took to their social media handles to share this update. “Stay tuned for an auditory assault like never before,” wrote the musician on Instagram.

Ravi, who has predominantly worked in the Kannada film industry, made his Malayalam debut with the 2021 action-drama Muddy. His renowned works include Prashanth Neel’s Ugramm, Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire, and KGF. He will also be working on Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly anticipated project, Kaaliyan, this year.
Unni Mukundan had stated that the making of Marco would begin in April. The actor called the movie the "most violent" thing that Malayalam cinematic history has ever produced.
He described Marco as a full-fledged action performer as well. In the coming days, his fans will be looking out for any updates about the cast and crew of the film.
Marco Jr appeared as the antagonist in the Haneef-directorial, Mikhael, which was released in 2019. The main themes of the action drama are the rivalry between two families of goons, their murders, the ineffectual police interventions, and the unforeseen involvement of innocent people.
Unni Mukundan is playing the fiery villain Marco Jr, who wants to exact revenge on his brother and nephew's murder. The actor delivered a memorable performance as Marco. Mikhael did not have a very good box office run, but the spin-off is certainly worth the wait.
In the first-look poster of the action drama, gold biscuits and severed body parts surround Unni as he wields a sword. He smokes a cigarette while sitting in what appears to be a throne-like chair. Marco's character is portrayed as unsettling by the monochromatic poster and the menacing soundtrack, which is Marco's original theme song from Mikhael.
