Marco Day 10 box office collection: Unni Mukundan film dominates, Hindi version fetches Rs 1.93 Cr already

Unni Mukundan’s latest action-thriller Marco had a solid second weekend at the Indian box office, with the movie raking in Rs 5.9 Cr from Saturday and Sunday. The movie saw a spike, especially on Sunday when it fetched Rs 3.2 Cr, with the Hindi version of Marco setting another record.

Marco’s total box office collection from Indian box office stands at Rs 35.8 Cr after Day 10, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

Marco Hindi version leads its Day 10 box office collection

Over the weekend, Marco’s Hindi version was opened to almost 250 shows – an increase from just 34 on Thursday. Positive word of mouth for the film has also helped the movie’s Hindi version gross almost Rs 0.80 Cr on Sunday alone. Incidentally, Marco broke the record for the highest collection of Malayalam movie’s Hindi version that was held by Aadujeevitham, a week into its release. This was Rs 42 lakh.

So, the weekend collections for the Hindi versions – Rs 0.60 Cr and Rs 0.80 Cr on December 28 and December 29, respectively – have set a new benchmark for Hindi-dubbed versions of Malayalam films. The Hindi version of Marco has so far collected Rs 1.93 Cr.

Marco to rely on Tamil, Telugu versions to cross Rs 100 Cr

The film, however, will have to rely heavily on its Tamil and Telugu versions to enter Rs 100 Cr club. This does seem likely, considering the movie is edging towards Rs 75 Cr in worldwide collections and there aren’t a lot of big releases in other languages till January 10. Pushpa 2 is also beginning to show a decline, meaning more screens will be available for Marco for the two South versions.

Marco’s Telugu-dubbed feature will hit theatres on January 1, 2025, along with the GCC release of its Hindi version. The makers are set to announce the release date of the Tamil version on December 30.
