Manvat Murders OTT Release: When and where to watch Ashutosh Gowariker starrer crime-thriller series

A new crime thriller series titled Manvat Murders is coming up on SonyLIV. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped an intriguing teaser. The series will be available on OTTPlay Premium as well.

Based on 1972's Manvat Killings, the upcoming series Manvat Murders is gaining attention after the teaser was dropped. 

In the clip, we can see some murders are taking place. Sharing the video, the streaming platform captioned it, "Seven murders; Unsolved for over one & half year." The series will be available for streaming on October 4 on SonyLIV (OTTPlay Premium).

Reacting to the teaser, one fan wrote, "It has to be seen (fire emojis)." Another commented, "Kadaaak (red hearts)." Others also dropped lovely comments as they expressed their excitement for the series. 

In the series, Ashutosh Giwariker will be seen playing the role of a cop from Mumbai, Ramakant Kulkarni. He is trying his best to get justice for the murders. The series is based on a dreadful crime that shook the state of Maharashtra in the 1970s. 

Produced by Storyteller’s Nook (Mahesh Kothare and Adinath Kothare) and created by Girish Joshi, Manvat Murders is directed by Ashish Bende. Based on Ramakant S. Kulkarni's autobiographical work, "Footprints on the Sand of Crime", the show boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Ashutosh Gowariker, Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sai Tamhankar in the lead roles.

The crime-thriller revolves around the critical hours that could make or break the case, following investigative teams led by the esteemed Detective Officer from CID Ramakant S. Kulkarni, also known as the Sherlock Holmes of India.

In the series, he will be seen showcasing the unwavering commitment, persistence, and expertise needed to unravel the most complex cases and faces the challenges in solving the series of mysterious murders in rural Maharashtra during the 1970s.
