The first-look poster of Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar's next, Mansion 24, is here. The poster of director Ohmkar's next features an intense Varalaxmi and an eerie mansion and it seems like the abandoned building is shrouded in mystery. Needless to say, the title is named after the building.
Cast and crew
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who plays the lead in the project, dropped the first-look poster and wrote on her social media handle, "So excited for this one..My next release #Mansion24 Watch at your own risk #Mansion24OnHotstar coming soon..!!#DisneyPlusHotstar (sic). "The show also stars Bindu Madhavi, , Avika Gor, Nandu, Meena Kumari, Manas, Amardeep Choudhary and Rao Ramesh to name a few.
Awaiting the release of Sabari
In the meantime, Varalaxmi is awaiting the release of Sabari, directed by Anil Katz. The star cast includes Ganesh Venkatram, Shashank and Mime Gopi. Speaking to OTTplay earlier, Ganesh said, "Sabari is a psychological thriller. Varalaxmi and I play husband and wife, and the film is also a relationship drama involving a child. It was exciting working with the team." Rahul Srivatsav cranks the camera, while Asish Teja Pulala is the art director and Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.Sabari will have release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Last seen in Maruthi Nagar Police Station
The actress was last seen in the Aha original, Maruthi Nagar Police Station. The thriller, directed by Kannada filmmaker Dayal Padmanabahan revolves around police officer Archana (Varalaxmi) whose friend Jai (Mahat) goes missing soon after he speaks to her over the phone. The film opened to mixed reviews.
OTTplay critic, P Sangeetha wrote in her review, "Dayal Padmanabhan's film might have its twists and turns, but fails short of becoming an impactful film due to the many loose ends and predictability.
