Manoj Bajpayee has proven his mettle as an actor with some of his notable films and web shows. This year, the Bollywood actor's 100th film, Bhaiyya Ji, was released in cinemas. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the action-thriller had its theatrical release on May 24, 2024. Two months later, Manoj's movie dropped on ZEE5. After a few days of its digital premiere, it has achieved a milestone on the streaming platform.
Bhaiyya Ji clocks 200 million+ streaming minutes
ZEE5 dropped a new poster of Manoj's Bhaiyya Ji which highlights a record set by the film. The action-thriller crossed over 200 million streaming minutes on the OTT platform. While sharing this update, the streamer wrote, "Bhaiyya Ji ne toh aag laga di! 200 million watch minutes?! He is the OG! ManojBhaiyyaJiKi100thFilm BhaiyyaJi streaming now, only on ZEE5 (sic)." On July 30, Manoj revealed his film with Apoorv Singh Karki had clocked 100 million streaming minutes within just 3 days of its OTT premiere. For those who are unaware, Bhaiyya Ji is also available to watch on OTTplay Premium.

Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Manoj revealed why it was tough for him to shoot Bhaiyya Ji. The actor said, "It has been a very difficult film to shoot because most of the action scenes are done by me. Fefsi Vijayan, who is such a legend from the Tamil industry, is the one who was a tough taskmaster. He wanted Manoj Bajpayee to do all the actions and he was not ready to compromise at all..." However, Bajpayee is glad that the action choreographer pushed him hard to perform the action scenes.
This film marked Manoj's reunion with director Apoorv Singh Karki. It was their second project after the success of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai.
