Manmadha Leelai: Silambarasan shares a glimpse of Venkat Prabhu’s adult comedy starring Ashok Selvan

Following the massive support and victory of Maanaadu starring Silambrasan, director Venkat Prabhu is back with his next movie. The makers of Manmadha Leelai released a short glimpse of the movie yesterday for the fans. 

The 40 second video, which was shared by Silambarasan through his social media, which starts off with an old song playing on the gramophone, soon turns into Ashok Selvan passionately kissing Samyukta Hegde and Riya Suman, who will be seen in the lead in Manmaadha Leelai. The entire video is in black and white, adding to the intruige in the video. 

The project will repor tedly revolve around an extra-marital affair, and will be a quirky and fun movie. Apart from Selvan, Hegde and Suman, the movie also stars Smruthi Venkat as a third female lead and Premgi Amaren among others. 

While Thamizh A Azhagan handles the camera and Venkat Rajen in the editor for the project, it is written by Prabhu’s assistant Manivannan and will have music composed by Premgi Amaren. The movie is backed by T Muruganantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment LLP.

The adult comedy will be the directors second take at the genre after his 2010 comedy Goa, which had Jai , Vaibhav, Premji and Aravind Akash in the lead. The director is also fresh off the success of his action thriller Maanaadu. 

Maanaadu, which hit theaters on November 25, 2021, received big praise for the performances of leads Silambarasan and SJ Suriyah and also its director. Following its theatrical release, the movie also started streaming on Sony LIV. 

Ashok Selvan, who played an important role in Priyadarshan’s Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea starring Mohanlal, was also seen in Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal.
