Actor Sreenath Bhasi revealed in an interview with Rekha Menon that he was experiencing turmoil in both his personal and professional lives while filming Manjummel Boys. He clarified that the movie holds great significance for him because it arrived at the right time.
"Being involved in my friends' work helped me deal with the turbulence I was facing at that time. Subhash came to me when I was stuck," he said. The actor disclosed that he had been dropped from another project at the time on the grounds that his acting was not up to par. He continued by saying he was disappointed by the incident and that Manjummel Boys had come in to help.
Following an interview during the film Chattambi's promotion, he was accused of verbally abusing the interviewer, which led to a number of problems.
Sreenath said that having his friends (the Manjummel Boys team) look after him while he was filming was a blessing. The actor talked about his physical and emotional challenges while portraying his character, as well as his experience working on the film.
“We were unconcerned about the strains involved because the entire experience was novel to us. Instead, the group was eager to present the narrative as compellingly as possible," he continued. Sreenath continued, stating that the first few shots were difficult for him to film, but he gave the film his all.
