Manjummel Boys Box Office Day 15: The survival thriller, which stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepak Parambol, and others in the lead roles, has now emerged as one of the all-time biggest blockbusters of Malayalam cinema. The project, which is helmed by Chidambaram, is now on its way to becoming the highest-grossing film in the industry. After completing the first 15 days of its release, Manjummel Boys has now touched the Rs. 125 crore mark.
As per the latest reports from trade analysts, the total worldwide collection of Manjummel Boys has now crossed the Rs. 125 crore mark. The reports suggest that the survival thriller has made over Rs. 76 crore at the Indian box office so far. The Chidambaram directorial has made a total collection of over Rs. 45.5 crore at the Kerala box office alone so far. The movie has crossed the Rs. 25 crore mark at the Tamil Nadu box office, thus emerging as the all-time highest Malayalam grosser in the state.
When it comes to the rest of India, including Tamil Nadu, Manjummel Boys has made over Rs. 31.2 crore. The overseas collection of the movie, on the other hand, has touched Rs. 48.4 crore. Now, it has also been confirmed that the survival thriller is set to surpass the lifetime collections of Lucifer, the 2019-released Mohanlal starrer which marked the directorial debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran.
If things proceed at the same rate, Manjummel Boys will reach the glorious Rs. 150 crore mark at the worldwide box office within the upcoming weekend. In that case, the movie will soon surpass the lifetime collections of Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starrer helmed by Vysakh, which was released in 2016. So, it is also safe to assume that the Chidambaram directorial has all chances to even break the collection record set by Jude Anthany Joseph’s 2018, thus emerging as the all-time highest grossing Malayalam film.
