Manjummel Boys has now emerged as a massive blockbuster, especially in Tamil Nadu. The movie emerged as the biggest break in the careers of both its director Chidambaram, as well its leading men, including Sreenath Bhasi. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that Manjummel Boys happened when he was going through a low phase in his career. However, Sreenath Bhasi is now gearing up for his grand debut in Tamil cinema, with GV Prakash Kumar’s next, produced by Pa Ranjith.
Recently, Pa Ranjith’s home banner Neelam Productions took to their official social media handles and confirmed that Sreenath Bhasi has joined their next outing. The project, which is headlined by actor-musician GV Prakash Kumar, is helmed by the Thangalaan director’s former assistant, Akiran Moses. “So happy and excited to welcome the renowned and talented actor, @sreenathbhasi onto Neelam Productions’ next. A film by @AkiranMoses. A @gvprakash musical. Starring GV Prakash and @ Rshivani1,” reads the Twitter post of the production banner.
Along with GV Prakash Kumar, Sreenath Bhasi, and Shivani Rajashekar, the project will also feature popular actors Pasupathy and Lingesh in pivotal roles. Selva RK is handling the editing. Stunner Sam handles the action choreography. Jaya Ragu handles the production design. More updates on the project, which is touted to be a thriller, are expected to be out very soon.

For the uninitiated, Sreenath Bhasi played the role of Subhash, the young man who gets trapped inside the Gunaa Caves, in Manjummel Boys. The talented actor now has a massive line-up of upcoming projects, including Idi Mazha Kaatu, Unlock, Dhuniyavinte Orattathu, Namukku Kodathiyil Kaanam, Khajuraho Dreams, and much more.
If the reports are to be believed, Sreenath is also expected to play a pivotal character in Bilal, the much-delayed Mammootty starrer, which is helmed by hitmaker Amal Neerad. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that he is a part of the Bheeshma Parvam duo’s next outing as well.
