Zee5 has announced the release date for Manju Warrier starrer Chathur Mukham. The movie is apparently the first techno-horror film from south India. Zee5 recently made the announcement that Chathur Mukham will be premiering on its OTT platform on July 9. They shared the news on their social media handle - Zee5 Asia-Pacific.

The trailer of the film focuses on Tejaswini, who is an outgoing woman prioritising education and financial stability. She seems to like social media a bit too much, to the level of being obsessed with it. Soon, something happens which traps her in a technological maze. Here, networks, social media and electronics have a mind of their own.
The Maju Warrier and Sunny Wayne starrer movie released in theatres in April, 2021. The movie had to be withdrawn from theatres not much later due to the second wave caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie was a huge success when it was released in theatres. It was well received by the critics and audiences alike. Following the withdrawal, Manju Warrier had released a statement which assured viewers that the movie would be re-released once the pandemic is under control.
Chathur Mukham, helmed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil Menon, is written by Abhayakumar K and Anil Kuriyan. Apart from Manju Warrier and Sunny Wayne, the movie also features Niranjana Anoop, Alencier Ley Lopez, Shyamaprasad, Babu Annur and Rony David in pivotal roles. The techno-horror film was produced by Manju Warrier herself, along with Jiss Toms and Justin Thomas.
