Even as fans of Ajith Kumar are awaiting the first single Chilla Chilla from Thunivu, here comes another song update from the movie. Manju Warrier, who is playing a key role in the project, has lent voice for a song under Ghibran's composition, leaving fans surprised. The actress herself has announced the news from her social media page.      

She also posted a picture of her singing the song in the recording studio and a photo along with Ghibran. Her post read, "Thrilled to have sung for @GhibranOfficial !!! Happy to be part of a very interesting song in #Thunivu! Waiting for you all to hear it! (sic)."

Movie lovers have been expressing excitement in the comment section and curiosity over the release of songs. The film, touted as a heist drama, is said to have three songs in total. There are reports that the first song from the movie is expected to be unveiled in the first week of December.

Anirudh has crooned the song which has lyrics by Vaisagh. The picture featuring Ghibran, Anirudh and Vaisagh went viral in no time after the composer shared it from his social media page.

Thunivu is set for a huge release for Pongal in the second week of January. Though makers are yet to announce the film's release date, it is expected that the movie, which is based on a real incident, will hit the screens on January 12. Red Giant Movies and Netflix have bagged the movie's theatrical and digital rights respectively.

Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Kavin and Prem Kumar will be seen playing notable roles in the film which has cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Vijay Velukutty. Supreme Sundar is in charge of action scenes.
