Manish Malhotra's Bun Tikki brings Zeenat Aman and Shabana Azmi together after decades

The renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra is known for creating Bollywood fashion with his signature designs. Recently, the designer brought back the shiffon saree pattern by giving it a modern touch with Alia Bhatt of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. After years of influencing the fashion of the industry, Malhotra recently made a huge change by entering the film industry with his freshly founded production company, Stage5 Production.

Zeenat Aman and Shabana Azmi set to reunite on screen

This debut project by the production house is already making waves in the industry which is titled Bun Tikki. The production of this fiom is scheduled to start in November 2023 and promises to be a remarkable cinematic experience. Zeenat Aman and Shabana Azmi, two iconic Bollywood actresses, will finally join the screen in Bun Tikki. Abhay Deol, a gifted actor, will play a crucial part in this captivating reunion. Faraz Arif Ansari, a skilled director, is in charge of the film.

Announceing the project on his social media account, Manish Malhotra wrote: “The hard work of 3:5 years of #stage5production has also lead to curating and nurturing #BunTikki a special and sensitive film starting November 2023 with @abhaydeol @thezeenataman and @azmishabana18 directed by @farazarifansari produced by #jyotideshpande @malhotra_dinesh @marijkedesouza @officialjiostudios @stage5production”

The designer-turned-producer is prepared to introduce new cinematic stories, with an initial concentration on fostering talent and exhibiting original storylines, with "Bun Tikki" and the biopic of Meena Kumari in the works.
