Manchi Rojulochaie, the family entertainer directed by 'comedy specialist' Maruthi, featuring Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles, is racing towards release on November 4. The film was initially planned as a direct-to-OTT release on aha but the reopening of theatres and the popularity of Santosh Shobhan have made the makers drift towards a theatrical release. The impressive trailer and the popularity of Anup Rubens' music (So So ga, Ekkesindhe) have worked in favour of the film till now.
The film's title track released today, sung by Haricharan and Sravani, is ample proof to suggest Anup Rubens's return to his consistent ways. Kasarla Shyam's lyrics offer a lot of hope, asking us to take that leap of faith and move on in life. The song is a plea to not give up on your goals and look at the larger picture despite being surrounded by many problems. Santosh Shobhan, Vennela Kishore, Mehreen, Ajay Ghosh, Maruthi, choregrapher Sekhar are seen having a good laugh through the making.
Haricharan yet again establishes his authority and versatility as a singer who fits into any music genre with ease. The inherent sweetness in his voice, coupled with the purposeful lyrics and a catchy tune make the Manchi Rojulochaie title track an instant morale booster. The song certainly has the capability to lift your spirits if you're going through a low phase. The lyrical video is edited quite well in coherence with the theme of the song and takes the viewer through many happy moments on sets as the team put this film together.
Sai Sriram and Ram Kumar have worked as the cinematographer and art director for the light-hearted entertainer. V celluloid and SKN have bankrolled the film under UV Concepts and Mass Movie Makers. Manchi Rojulochaie will be clashing with Rajinikanth's Peddanna, Vishal-starrer Enemy at the theatres on November 4.
