The teaser introduces the male and female lead of the film, who have contrasting mindsets. However, an unexpected guest comes into their lives, turning their lives upside down. With Sharwanand’s character looking like a playboy, Krithi Shetty plays a girl who is responsible, frank, and candid. Their lives turn upside down with the entry of a child, played by Vikram Adittya. They lose happiness and peace with the boy messing up things. Touted to be a light-hearted romantic comedy, the teaser gives a sneak peek into the film.

More about Manamey

The film is shot by Vishnu Sharma and Gnana Shekar VS, with Hridayam-fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab scoring the music. Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer, while Krithi Prasad and Phani Varma serve as the executive producers of Manamey. The technical crew also consists of Prawin Pudi as the editor and Jonny Shaik as the art director. The dialogues for the film are penned by Arjun Carthyk, Tagore, and Venky.

Mamaney is set to release in theatres this summer. However, a release date has yet to be announced by the makers. More details on the film, such as additional cast members, are expected to be released by the makers in the coming days. Meanwhile, actor Sharwanand was last seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Kanam/Oke Oka Jeevitham, also starring veteran actor Amala. On the other hand, Krithi was seen in Custody.
