Manali Dey, Sneha Chatterjee, and Basabdatta Chatterjee to feature in a new mega serial

After the tremendous success of playing Fuljhuri in Star Jalsha’s Dhulokona, Manali Manisha Dey is all set to come back on television. However, this time it will be a serial in Zee Bangla. 

In Dhulokona, Manali and Indrasish Roy won the hearts of the audience as Lalon and Fuljhuri. The serial topped the TRP list for weeks. Now Manali will be seen in a new serial.

A new mega is coming on Zee Bangla with the story of four girls. Besides Manali, the serial will also feature Sneha Chatterjee and Basabdatta Chatterjee. Basabdatta will make a comeback in TV after three years. Sneha was last seen in the serial Lalkuthi, starring Rooqma Ray and Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee as the protagonists. Sneha also worked in the web series Indubala Bhaater Hotel.

The three actresses had their looks set. Basabdatta told a publication, “The look set is just done. I can not say anything about the character.” Sneha said, “I did not like playing negative characters anymore. I wanted to play something a bit different. Here my character is outspoken in nature.” Soumili Biswas is also heard to be another protagonist. Shoumo Banerjee, who worked in the series Eken Babu, may work in this serial.

Many people think that Zee Bangla will keep this serial opposite Anurager Chhowa on Star Jalsha, which is doing great according to the TRP. Zee Bangla tried to compete with the serial Mukut, which did not help. Now Icche Putul is in that slot. But it is also not helping. Hence, a new serial is being planned. The shooting will start in June.
