Mammootty poses with team Rekhachithram; Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan pen heartfelt notes

Rekhachithram, the investigation drama film directed by Jofin T Chacko, hit the theatres on January 9, 2025. The movie, which marks the first onscreen collaboration of popular actors Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, is receiving positive reviews from both the audiences and critics. Interestingly, Rekhachithram has also garnered the attention of audiences with the AI presence of Mammootty. The lead actors and director of the film recently visited with the megastar, and posted some pictures with the legend on social media.

Recently, Rekhachithram actors Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan, and director Jofin T Chacko recently visited Mammootty, who is an integral part of their film. “To dear Mammootty chettan... An Asif Ali film,” wrote the leading man, who shared a lovely picture with the legend. “To dear Mammootty chettan... With lots of love younger sister Rekha Pathros,” wrote the young actress. The veteran actor, on the other hand, shared a picture with the team with a caption, that reads: “With Rekhachithram team... With love, Mammootty chettan.”

The filmmaker, who has previously collaborated with Mammootty for The Priest, took to his social media handles and thanked the megastar with a special post. “Mammukka, with out your ‘yes’ this movie would never have been possible. Your support has always driven us each and every step up ahead. Thank you for being a catalyst and a driving force for taking up something which I personally felt was impossible. And above all we thank you for being a part of it,” reads Jofin T Chacko’s post.

Asif Ali plays the role of a young police officer named Vivek Gopinath, in Rekhachithram, which stars Anaswara Rajan as Rekha Pathros, an aspiring actres. Manoj K Jayan, Zarin Shihab, Siddique, Bhama Arun, Megha Thomas, Jagadish, Nishanth Sagar, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, TG Ravi, and other played the supporting roles in the film. Mujeeb Majeed composes the music score. Appu Prabhakar is the director of photography. Shameer Muhammad handled the editing.
